Training for the LAPL(A) Aircraft Pilot License

The holder of an LAPL(A) aircraft licence shall be entitled to act as PIC on single-engine piston aeroplanes with a maximum take-off mass of up to 2000 kg carrying a maximum of 3 passengers.Applicants for an LAPL(A) shall be at least 17 years of age and have a valid aero-medical certificate appropriate to the LAPL(A).

The training is divided into two stages:

1. Theoretical training.

2. Practical training in the air.

Practical training consists of two stages:

1. Learning basic piloting, flights in a circle combined with learning to take off and land and how to deal with dangerous situations.

2. Cross-country flights in controlled and uncontrolled air traffic.

Practical training is only 30 hours of flight.

Price for practical training in the 2021 season – 520 zł hour of a school flight.

(When paying for 30 hours of training once)

Price for practical training in the 2021 season – 560 zł hour of school flight.

(When paying for training settled in installments)

Training for the PPL(A) Aircraft Pilot License

The holder of a PPL(A) shall be entitled to perform without remuneration the duties of PIC or co-pilot of aeroplanes or TMGs in non-commercial operations. Applicants for a PPL(A) shall be at least 17 years of age and have a valid Aero-Medical Certificate Class 2

The training is divided into two stages:

1. Theoretical training.

2. Practical training in the air – minimum 45 hours of training

Practical training consists of three stages:

1. Learning basic piloting, flights in a circle combined with learning to take off and land and how to deal with dangerous situations.

2. Flights according to instrument readings.

3. Cross-country flights in controlled and uncontrolled air traffic.

Price for practical training in the 2021 season – 520 zł hour of a school flight.

(When paying for 45 hours of training once)

Price for practical training in the 2021 season – 560 zł hour of school flight.

(When paying for training settled in installments)
